question about FRAUD

Postby leoloveflorida » Wed Jul 11, 2012 6:45 pm

I am currently working in a pediatric clinic. There is a girl from Brazil there that did NOT pass her PT exam and she is TREATING patients.

I was told that was ok because she is treating a private pay patient from Italy.

Am I CRAZY or is this VERY fradulent????????

PLEASE let me know!!!

Thx:)

Some PT's from different countries get other licenses or certifications that allow them to work in clinics. You should be careful when using the fraud word because you can ruin peoples lives without really knowing what you are talking about.

You sound as if you are a very mean, vindictive person trying to start trouble and that is not what this board is about.

I looked up your profile and you appear on plastic surgery sites as leoloveflorida on make me heal dot com under a6538 - Does that make you a FRAUD????????

I agree with you PT forever. That people from some countries can work with a certification. Its like massage therapy can work with a certification even if they do not have a license. However, they are normally employed as assistants or aides. So it depend on what kind of treatment it is going on.

To: leoloveflorida,

Are you having a bad day and you started creating profile in this forum even you're not a real PT and posting mean words regarding about other people that you never even knew? I will answer your question: YES-> YOU ARE CRAZY! and to educate you a little bit more, you should look at APTA: GUIDE TO PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT 11.3 Disparagement
Physical therapists shall not disparage
colleagues and other health care
professionals. See Section 9 and Section
2.4.A.

This forum is not for people like you... You're a MORON! very unprofessional. My best advice to you DON'T CONDESCENDING other people. and also, watch your spelling. It should be Fraudulent not fradulent
