I have a doubt.
I am working on rehabilitation for my elbow. It got surgery by 22nd of november after an accident the 5th of November 2011. I started rehabilitation the 12 of December 2011. I have achieved a 120 angles degrees with quite a lot of effort but still on my own and without warming. However, after the physical therapist has worked on me for 10 minutes forcing the flexing angle, I am able to flex it until 140 degrees on my own while the muscles are still warm from the work by the physical therapist. After the physical therapist finishes the work forcing me, the elbow joint starts to come to the cold state where I can only handle 120 degrees in a matter of minutes.
I was said by the surgeon that this was a matter of just keeping forcing me even more the rest of the day until the elbow keeps giving in. He told me that even if I had a pontential limit to flex the elbow, I was far from it.
I would like to ask for your suggestions to increase the flexing angle that I am able to do without warming, from 120 to 140 degrees.
Thanks a lot in advance.
