hydrodilation for adhesive capsulitis

Hi- Was wondering if anyone has seen a patient(s) who has underwent hydrodilation for frozen shoulder and what the success rate for improvement with ROM was vs MUA. Seems like more surgeons perform this in other countries other than US. Thanks

The local Orthopedic clinic here in Vermont, use to do them and I have seen two people with the treatment. The results were no better than what would be expected after 'surgical manipulation'. However, I feel that in all cases the post-procedure care is very poor, no PT for several days, or performing the procedures on a Friday when the patietn then goes home and does not move the shoulder for 2-3 days, and everything is back to being tight in no time.......i personally feel that as I have become more experienced in treatment adhesive capsulitis or frozen shoulder (2 different diagnoses) that PT is the most effective method and rarely is it not very successful...........BTW, the othropedic clinic discontinued performing it , i suspect secondary to poor outcomes and $$...what else is new?
