muscle spasms help!

I started pt a week ago and the muscle spasms along my thoracic spine are getting worse will this get better. has anyone dealt with this

What are you being treated for in PT? A thoracic spine issue? Need to know a little more to help. One thing is for sure, however, when starting PT there is often an increase in pain before the problem is fixed.

I have a heniated disc and my muscles have athropy been in bed from illness for over a year. Darla
