Leg Injury I Can't Quite Pin Point

Postby ccrain33@yahoo.com » Tue Jun 16, 2009 2:05 am

About 3 years ago the day after I performed a deadlift excercise I had an extremely hard time swinging my leg out of bed. After the injury I could not run more than 50feet without lots of weakness, my wife commented watching me run was like watching me run through mollasses. My symptoms also included inablity to walk two flights of stairs, getting up and down (stooping), stiff sciatic nerve, severe cramping in the outer hamsting muscle.

If anyone has any information I would greately appreciate your input.

Thank you
Chris

Tell us more about your pain. Do you have any? Does it go away? Has it gotten better or worse?

When the injury first occured I had extreme soreness on the outer lowest portion of my buttock where the hamtring meets and that went on for about a year. I funny thing also started up, when I sneezed I would get a shooting pain deep in my pelvic floor area. I still feel a little bit of soreness in the muscle and the sneezing shooters have subsided.

How difficult is it to switch insurance after a bad injury?Should she still quit her job? My friend is moving to TN from FL. Her brother was badly injured in a four wheeler acident. Only two weeks out from loosing their current Health insurance. Process of moving, will she still be able to quit her job? With Health First insurance in FL, how difficult is it to switch insurance after a bad injury?
